Collin & The Wishing Tree

"Fabulously dark humor... oh how I laughed!"

date: January 28, 2009

Someone once called me the "wishing tree" hope this didn't happen to him...

I loved everything about it, narration, even my computer lagging or was it a glitch in your animation as the tree gathered Collin's wishes? (I could picture it in my mind.) At any rate, whenever I need to laugh inside or out loud, I'll remember your wishing tree or watch it if I can go online. Thanks for putting smile on my face!

The Creeper

"Yes, he did creep..."

submission: The Creeper
date: January 28, 2009

Didn't creep me out, but was an interesting use of claymation. Not something I'd watch over and over. I could see the darker parts. Thought the music helped set the tone for one losing their head and regaining it.

Author's Response:

I think you misunderstand the movie. (which is easy to do) he doesnt actually regain his head that is a different guy there. as you can see his head is a completely different shape and he has a yellow shirt on.
the only reason he is standing in the same spot as the headless dude when the light comes back on is to make it seem really trippy and stuff.
BUT if you are talking about him holding up the sign at the end that has nothing to do with the rest of the movie.

Magi Wars

"I'm impressed by the visuals/backgrounds"

submission: Magi Wars
date: January 28, 2009

Ok, I'm new at this, but I liked the way it looks and for most people, looks are everything, but then I could actually move around and shoot things so I enjoyed figuring it out until the phone rang and all the teeny magi teamed up and killed me ...pfffft.*) I needed a pause button though... and it does look familiar like I've seen it/played it somewhere before.

Took me a bit to get moving around and firing at the same time while getting the web cursor to stick on the teeny magi....I thought it was very nice I couldn't get my left hand aand right to coordinate, but that's just me if I could get it together I'd enjoy playing it. The music was a bit much for me, but ok.

But why did you use a web, or was it a net for capturing the magi for the cursor?
